Delaware Water Gap National Park Violations
National Park Violations are tickets received in National Recreation Areas and Parks, and they allege violations of regulations that can be found under the Code of Federal Regulations. If you are stopped for Driving Under the Influence (“DUI”) or Operating Under the Influence (“OUI”) or arrested by the United States Park Rangers for other violations, you can expect to receive a National Park Violation. Your ticket will list a CFR (“Code of Federal Regulations”) number on the ticket. The CFR number refers to the charge that is alleged.
If the ticket indicates that one Must Appear (“MA”), then you will need to appear at a future date in Scranton or Wilkes-Barre for a hearing on the violations. In the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, which is covered by the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the hearings are scheduled before United States Magistrates who sit in either Scranton or Wilkes-Barre.
